AWC is pleased to introduce the ASP-II Solderless Stamp Prototyping System -- an economical alternative for prototyping Stamp II hardware without soldering. The ASP-II increases your productivity and costs less than $20!
The ASP-II provides an adapter that allows you to plug a standard 9 pin serial cable and a 9 volt battery into a solderless breadboard. Here's what you get:
| A special adapter for the serial cable | |
| A special adapter for the 9 volt battery | |
| Complete instructions with sample labs and techniques for using the cable adapter for normal serial I/O |
You supply the battery, a cable (you need a 9 pin male to female for most PCs), and a BSII or BSIISX. Of course, you also need a solderless breadboard (these are readily available at Radio Shack or any electronics distributor).
You also need the Parallax stamp software (available free at ftp://ftp.parallaxinc.com/pub/parallax/stamp.zip).
Why pay $100 or more for a Stamp development system you have to solder or wire wrap? Educators: Perfect for microcontroller training classes. Change your design as fast as you change your mind. Ask about special discounts for classroom use.

We also have a lab kit of parts that make it extra easy to use your ASP-II. You'll find all the parts you need to build the example labs and do some experimenting on your own. Check it out.
Try an ASP-II for 21 days. If you aren't delighted, just send it back undamaged for a full refund of your purchase price. But once you see how easy it is to build Stamp prototypes, you won't want to be without it.
